This has probably been asked before but is there anywhere that has a list of years for the serial numbers of the Moline garden tractors. I"ve got what I think to be a 108 serial number 82400723 and I"m trying to figure out what year it is. Thanks for any help. |

| | A picture tells a thousand words. In the early years MM changed the lawnmower every year. Later years they were the same for a couple years at a time. I think your serial number may be off a bit. The early models had serial numbers like 22400XXX. If your first digit is a 2 instead of an 8 and its brown with an drop arch front axle then its a 1962 first year model. Brian |

| I could be off on the serial number, it's hard to read. It is more like a sticker than a metal serial tag. I'm trying to upload a picture but it may not work. It is painted yellow but I can tell there is brown underneath it. It has a 8hp Kohler and 3 speed transmission. |

| | If it was originally brown it would be a 1963 model. If it was always yellow then it would be a 1964 model. Those foil serial number decals are a pain. They used them through 1966 then switched to a riveted on serial number tag. The 7 & 8 hp units used a 224XXXXX serial number range from the first unit in 1962 through the 1966 model year. 10 hp units used a 286XXXX serial number range. Starting in 1967 they switched over to an 820XXX model number on the tag which was the dealer order number also. In my opinion most of the value is in the condition of the foil serial number tag. You have a nice example of a 63/4 model that many collectors would love to have. I don't have one in my collection. Brian |

| I thought it was a pretty nice little find. Don't see many at all here. The seat is the only thing missing as far as I can tell. It runs pretty good too. What's it worth? |
