i dont think its the shifting rods beacuse i fixed the detents and it helped alot but there is alot of noise from the trany |

|  This is a "U" tranny with cover off. My bearing at end of imput shaft inside larger gear was distroyed. I amagine it would of let shaft dropp and wobble. Tony |

| Doesn't sound good. Sounds like you may need to pull the top cover and look for bad bearings. There is a needle bearing that goes in the inside of the pinion shaft on the end of the top shaft that the slider gears run on. |
