It was basically what one would call an "unstyled" Z. The tranny was about 4in shorter and the front steering was different. It came with a waukesha engine but many were converted to a 185 or 206 MM engine with a factory or home made conversion bracket for the front end. I have two... and a half of them. The J tractors were made during the first year of the Z models too. Usually grey, some were painted yellow.
