Beware of low hours!! I bought a 67' 670 diesel this spring has 3800 hrs and looked good. ran decent had some what of a lope when warm and some blow by. turns out engine has never been open including valve covers, valves never touched still had paint on threads of valve covers. start at top. bored .020 over, all four injector holes cracked, bearings shot, waterpump shot, cam has a flat lobe, rad. leaks, pwr steering pump junk. broken hydrualic centering spring on remote left that way fryed pump and or relief valve, air flter dated 1970, . but the lights work! But only 3800 hrs go figure. Will be an awesome tractor when done though!!! |

| | When I think of 'low hours' I think less than 1000. But then I work in the lawn equip. industry where 2000 hrs is about the life of a well maintained quality air cooled gasoline engine. I guess in your case, at least you have the starting point for a good MM tractor. |

| I think my air filter was dated 1972 on my M670 Super but they used to wash those somehow....could up to 6 times before replacing them if I remember right. Sounds like you have alot to do....but worth it. |
