| I assume you have a G900-D or G950-D as I believe that is all the 451 was used in. The main difference in the 451 (4 3/8x5) and the 504 (4 5/8x5) is the piston diameter, you could probably put the 504 blocks in your crankcase. I believe the engines would be very similar on the outside. The main reason for the existence of the 900/950 was the M M trannys were not quite ready for the 504s power. Also a 336 diesel will have the same blocks as a 504 just two blocks instead of three.

| Does it necessarily have to be a 451? A 504 would be a nice upgrade. I'm assuming of course that you're talking MM engines....
