What model? What Parts? the Late ones were made by Krause, but had some specific to MM parts.Several model 10" wheel disks were made over the last 20 years of MM production, being quite different from each other. |

They bought rights from Krause, but I believe they were manufactured in Hopkins. Except for the very early ones. The main frame at the rear was very different from Krause. MMDEL

Del, do you have proof of this? These "proofs" are some of the paper/photographic (photos of mfg. plants & shipments) trails I'm trying to track down for the MM Book. the KA Series disks, KA is for Krause. Later, White did built the Krause pattern Disk, but I have not determined what year the change of mfg. was. Some of the frustrating fun of research.

I'll have to do some digging. I was always under the impression that the early ones with the hitch hight adjustment using a horizontal screw, were made by Krause. And the ones with the horizontal crank were made at Hopkins. I sold several of these and I thought the price book stated FOB Hopkins. I'll do what I can to help get the info correct. I certainly don't know everything, and one of my pet peeves is people making statements for fact and don't have their info correct. MMDEL

In talking to Mike Velhurst since I last posted, He thinks Krause made a few maybe but they were made at the Moline plant. And later at Hopkins. He wasn't positive on any of this as he worked in a different area. I don't know if any records can be found at Charles City or not. MMDEL
