I have a problem. There is oil leaking out of the vent and when I run my tractor the fan blows oil all over my new paint job. I have the wire thing in the vent. What can I do to stop this without sealing off the vent. I dont want to do that because it is a vent. Also the oil level is not high.

You could try cleaning the blowby tube. Could be trapping the oil in it, and not letting it run back into the crank case.

That is a very interesting issue. I also have a ZT and honestly have never experienced that issue. By chance would it be due to the viscosity of oil you are using? I am using 30wt Low-Ash for gas engines I get from my local Case-IH dealer and have never had any issues. Just thought I might put my two cents in but with the deflation, it ain"t worth much at all. :) Hope you get the problem fixed.

If you have a R or Z you could put a hose on the vent pipe. Either run the hose down below the engine and drip on the ground or ron the hose to the air cleaner and run it back through the intake.

No that is not orignal, it is a makeshift deal to save your paint untill you repair your engine to eleminate the excess blowby.
