I was looking at a M602 gas with a all hydraulic loader, and was wondering how tuff it would be to put a 3 point hitch on it. The tractor sounds real nice but looks tuff and has straight tin.I dont know much about this model and tractordata says it has partial range shifting, but didn't they all have a 5 speed with hi/low? |

| | Sounds some work to put 3 point on it. How about from a tractor pulling point of view, I wonder how light these can get with pressed steel wheels. |

| Were any these tractors ever fitted with a narrow front end? |

| Single, narrow front, wide adjustable and standards were all available in most all of the tractor models. I agree, most of the standards didnt have 3pt. I had an M602 gas with wide front, and type E hyd and 18.4 x 34 tires. The one I have now is a wide front 3pt and 18.4 x 34 tires. Were all the M602s with 18.4 x 34s single bevel rims? The M670 Supers with 18.4s had double bevel rims. |

| | I believe that there was and option of either the Tel-flow or type E. I have seen some jet stars and 4 stars , M5s etc with out the Ampli torc, But from what i have seen it is common that if you 3 pt you dont have the ampli torc as well. 3300 if real steep in my opinion . 2000 is more of a price range. |

| Yes, this one has 18.4 x 34's and it has a cover on the hole in the differential housing where the mechanical lift would come out. He would come down from $3300 |

| The hole in the diff. housing is for the belt pulley, not the 3pt. The 3pt is an entirely seperate unit that bolts to the top of the rear end. The hyd unit on the tractor now is most likely the type "E" hyd system with two hyd remotes with two levers. That entire unit needs to be swapped out for the tel-o-flo unit. There are several 5/8" nuts/bolts around the perimiter of both units that come off and you can pick one up and install the other. I would say your best bet is to find a parts tractor and use it for your donor. Most every 602 around here had a 3pt hitch. Parts from an M5 and early M670 could work also. |

| Any 602 I have seen has no 3pt. Around here they are all wheatland models. 3pt can be added but top of rearend would have to be changed from a donor tractor. |

| My 602 does appear to have ever had an amplitorc. It was # 20 made. I thought all the 602"s had a 3 point. I do have extra 3 point arms if needed. |

| wheatland models did not usually have 3 pt, some M-5s and 602's had narrow front--most were wide though |
