t.r.K. 10-07-2009 09:17:08 70.60.125.75 49689 Report to Moderator	Re: MM 335 industrial power steering in reply to Joshua Ratliff, 10-05-2009 16:55:27   If your 335 I is like a 335 utility, there is a cover over the front (toward front bolster) and back of the valve. remove the covers, there is a lock bolt in the end of the valve spool clamping the actuator pin. loosen the bolt, jack up the front axle and turn the rear end of the valve spool with a big screwdriver-it is slotted-until it turns the same in both directions. This only works if the end of the actuator pin that drags in the collar on the steering shaft is a snug fit between the shoulders of the collar and the collar and the shaft itself is free to move the required .040 fore and aft in its housing, like it says in the I&T service manual.   [Reply]   [Send Email]

I had that on my M5. The first time I put mine on after fixing it I eyeballed putting the vavle on on the bench and it worked perfect, then I had to take it off to fix a leak and when I put it back on it did just like yours. Had a time getting it to work good again but got it to work. They can be a challenge.   [Reply]   [No Email]
