Yesterday, i got my moline running for more than 5 min. It ran good but all the sudden the engine start knocking and quit running. it won't turn over. i took valve cover off and found the valve fell in to block. I took the haed off found busted head, broke the piston and cyliner wall is not bad but need bore out. The valve is sitting on top of piston and it bent in to "S" shape. I am dissappointed about that but i can fix it.

Does anybody know where and who sell a good block, head and good engine overhaul kits? I found some places but i want to know who the best overhaul kits.
Thanks
Tracy

talk to a good local machine shop. had to put sleeves in my 445 as the cylinders were pitted. cost was like 50.00 a hole or so. he got me the kit that i needed but also was able to find most parts for the engine at an old dealer that could order from agco for me.

Overhaul kits for MM engines are not as simple as other engines, (no sleeve and piston assembly, many variables possible.) Give us a call @ 920 295 3278. We have everything you"ll need to fix that thing. We have reconditioned heads, used and reconn"ed blocks, pistons, conn. rods, etc. We also have most new parts you may need(gaskets, water pumps, manifolds, clutches, brakes, and a whole bunch of MM small block stuff!) Our email is still off due to new office construction, maybe late next week, calling best for now, Dale and Doug, River Dale FarMMs.

I don't know if this helps, but I think the JetStar series use the same engine and I noticed an eBag seller in south Texas is apparently parting out a JS-2. He sells under "cole_murphy". I bought a couple items from him years ago and would again if he had something I needed.
