Could some Massey experts tell me all the differences between a MF 178 and 188
As far as i know the -
-188 has the same engine size but slightly more power (not sure why, turned up injector pump?
-188 has higher capacity hydraulic pump.
Anything else?
I've always wanted to restore one of these, almost had a 188 a few years back but dropped it for my ford 6600 which I recently restored.
I know a family friend with a 178 that I could probably get cheap that I could restore, but i'm on the fence about waiting for a 188, i only want one 100 series MF!
