Distance between left side stabilizer leveling on 3 point...

I replaced fixed left side stabilizer leveling arm with tractor supply which has a
adjustable arm. What is the distance between top & bottom pin? What is the reason
for a fixed arm on left side & adjustable arm on right side? This is on my mf65 gas
tractor.

I don't see a reason for it except for cost possibly.

Left side holds arm so you can adjust right side to make cut's with blade etc.Also some equipment may have different height pins. I have seen older tractors with both sides with adjustment arms. Probably just use what they have after breaking one side. I use it a lot to hook up a piece of equipment that is not setting level. When your using a breaking plow and other plows you have to adjust arms to level plow so it will plow correct.
