Diesel flush on hydraulics in Massey 135

I bought a Massey Ferguson 135 Diesel this weekend with a weak 3 pt lift and milky fluid/water contamination in the sump. I knew this going in and price was adjusted accordingly. I've pretty much got the filter change procedure down from surfing forums on the Internet, but there seems to be some contention about using diesel fuel to flush out the contaminants in the transmission/hydraulic sump. Or should I just run 8 gallons of inexpensive UTF through it and drain and refill with a decent brand?

I'd like to hear from you who have done it one method or the other. Please share your opinions.

Thanks!

Jeff

If you run it daily I would change the oil after a week, or two, that will help get more water out. Drain it into something clean so you can see what all comes out (oil is cheap compared to all the parts that runs in it).
