Im looking at buying a 670 massey with a cab and factory loader. The tractor has 2200 hours and looks to be in good shape except for the paint. Can any of you guys give me the good, bad, and ugly of this tractor thanks in advance jordan. |

| I got a 1983 MF-690, Cab-H-A, no loader. Has been an excellent tractor. 12 forward speeds via 3 gear shift levers (2 X 2 X 3), and 4 reverse speeds. IPTO and 2 remote sets. Draft control. Suitcase weights on front. Tom |

| These tractors with the 3 lever gearbox are super ...Look out for constant running PTO it can be a bit spendy to fix. Also if it is FWA check that it has oil in the axle...The bronze swivel bush wears and allows the oil to escape. Easy fix ..machine the housing to take a seal instead of an 'O' ring (if it has not been already upgraded by Massey). All the best with it....Oh! did I mention the poor paint on the cab????? Sam |
