Maurice Hood 11-30-2012 14:25:21 184.4.37.106 Report to Moderator	Okay, my tractor is now running again without any fuel leaks. I did do a search of the forum and found some really good information concerning this procedure. I found a great detailed post by Tom-NorthCenTX that gave it step by step. Being a real novice I didn’t realize at first that Tom actually started with step two. For someone like me step one is to “shut off the fuel”. Once I realized that the pump couldn’t possibly hold that much fuel I shut off the fuel and was able to move right along with the project as per Tom’s post. One other thing I might mention that might help someone in the future is that the little short shaft and spring that is used to attach the larger governor spring is real easy to lose and according to the guy at the local MF dealership, where I bought the 4 o-rings and the gasket for a total of $5.12, is that the small shaft and spring usually end up falling down inside the pump which brings on a lot more work. I’m proud to say that I did not lose that shaft or spring though I did misplace the governor spring for a while but did eventually find it.
