Hello. I posted about this tractor a few weeks ago. Well, I have it now. I"ve got the operators manuals, and the service and parts manuals are on their way to me. There"s diesel leaking into the fuel, and I"m now sure it"s the injectors. After running it for a couple minutes to park it, I could see quite a bit of fuel running down from the injectors. A friend of mine said it might just be O-rings. I"m going to take one out and have a look. Another thing about this machine is really confusing me; maybe someone out there knows the answer. This tractor says it"s a 304 on the ID plate. So do the decals. However, it has the shuttle shift transmission, a 3pt hitch, and PTO. Could it still be a 304? and if it was, why would it not have the instant reverse transmission? It does have an oil temp gauge, like the manual says the 304 has. I"m kind of confused... Thanks in advance! |
