Trying to get aunt's tractor running after sitting in barn for 5 years. Cleaned pts, new gas. Good flow to settling bulb and carb inlet. It runs well for 15 seconds and shuts off. What is the likely culprit?, not a Massey guy. What is the difference between a MF and a TO? Thanks, JD. |

| to35 has A z134 engine your problem is the straner fitting inlet to the carb. remove and clean and you will be ready for work.when they stop up they won't let enough gas into the carb to keep it running, |

| Hi JD, I agree that it's likely the carb. A cleaning must include a soak in a carb cleaning solution after being taken apart. Chuck |

| A TO-35 would be a bit older than a 35. Could be in need of a good carb cleaning. When it starts to die can you give is some choke to keep it running or is the choke already out for the 15 seconds it's running? |
