I purchased a 135 gas that has been sitting outside for about 2 years. The fluid in the rear end and tranny is a yellow color. What do I need to replace it with and how much. What else do I need to look for. Have changed engine oil, cleaned gas tank, and rebuilt the carb. Have not started it yet. Thanks.

I've used nothing but Pennzoil Hy Tran for 40+ years in my 150. Have a neighbor who uses nothing but NAPA Hy Tran with same excellent results. I can't get behind paying extra for MF branded oil cans that contain the same stuff as less expensive brands, especially since the MF brand has no additional benefits....

Use MF Perma-Tran 821XL if you want it to work the best.

Don't over look the other plug under the gearbox.Gearbox and trans casing use the same oil and filler hole but have 2 drain plugs.
15W30 or 15w 40 oil is perfect for this tranny.

Drain transmission by removing plug at bottom , rinse with small amount of kerosine / motor oil mixture . drain completely them refill with any brand of Transdraulic fluid . Found at your autosupply, tractor dealer, or Tractor supply stores . there should be a dip stick on the side of the transmission . ps. there should also be a refill plug at the top of xmission . good luck !
