The Iowa Chapter of MCA will hold it's annual show and get together on Aug 11 & 12 in conjunction with the Antique Engine and Power show 1/2 mile east of Fredericksburg, Ia. Fredericksburg is about 35 miles north of Waterloo. Contact Kurt Kelsey, Iowa President 641-648-9086 or Roger Burkhart, show chairman 563-920-8522 for more info.
We have a block of rooms reserved for just under $65 at the Southgate Inn in New Hampton, Ia. Call 641-394-4145 for reservations and info. This is the closest motel and is about 12 mi from the show field.
The Iowa Chapter is planning a meeting and supper at "the Pub at The Pinicon" on Saturday eve. This is a nice restaurant just across the parking lot from the motel. The food is good and the prices reasonable. I will need some type of head count , the sooner the better.
We had a good show and turnout last year at Belmond and I'm hoping to see more of you this year at Fredericksburg.
The following weekend is the National Massey Expo near Baraboo, Wi. I am going with my Challenger and will set up a sunshade and our Iowa Banner, so I hope some of you will be there also.
