Which way do the rear main bearings go in on a Z134 engine. 1 bearing has an extra set of holes, does it go in the block or in the main cap. The IT manual says nothing about this. When I tore it apart it had no oil pressure & the bearing with the holes was in the cap. But it also had all new Std. bearings and the crank was .010 under, so trusting it might not be correct. Thanks for the info. |

| The hole or "extra set of holes" goes to the block. Just think about the oil having to travel up into the head and the "holes" have to align into the block to allow the oil to have a path. Just shoot some air up thru the block hole and you will hear air passing into the head. |

| I may have miss spoke about the direction but the oil has to have a path to the head and I'm sure that is why you had no oil pressure. |
