I have a Massey Harris 60 PT combine that came with a grain pick up. I have used the combine for 15 years but never mounted the pick up. I don't know what make the pick up is but it looks to have been red and green at one time.I'm looking for any advice on how to mount it. Any specific information would be great, but even general thoughts on mounting it would be helpful. Specifically: 1) What does the pick up bolt to ? 2) Do the sickle, guards, and reel come off when the pick up goes on ? 3) how do I figure out what length belt it needs ? Thanks Greg |

| If it is the original Massey Harris pickup I might even have the manual for it. Seems to me it was not too big a job when I used to help my dad change from the reeel to the pickup on the Massey 60 sp. |

| Hi Greg, I would look at the pickup and see if it has a tag. These were mfg. by other companies and not all the same. It was pretty common to have to remove guards and bolt the mtg brackets to the holes where the guards were. The reel would come off and I would remove the sickle.Get it mtd and then measure for the belt. Be sure mtd so it will line up for the belt. Chuck |
