A friend of mine recently found a 1951 Massey 44 similar to one from his past. The seat, connecting tube and other related mechanics have been altered. As well the throttle, located in front of the seat, not behind the steering wheel,is missing. Anybody got some parts?Bob |

| | Depending on exactly what it looks like, it could be factory equipment. There were a plethra of different seat spring posts (castings, steel weldments, straight, and offset) and seat main tube assemblies used on the 44's. This is not to mention that the "crotch" mounted throttle is fairly prevalent on the 1951 model year, especially. Do you have pictures to post? Regards, Goldsburg |
