Massey 22 hyd pump

My Massey Harris 22 is equipped with the factory hyd pump on the engine, I have no use for the hyd lift on the tractor and the pump mount leaks. My question is, can I remove the pump and make a plate to bolt on in it's place? If so is there more to removing the pump then the 2 bolts I can see?

It's that simple. Remove pump, cap or remove the lines, make/install a plate and go.

I have an MH22 and there is no way I'd remove the hyd. But if I was to.....

Why would you keep the hyd? Do you have cultivators on yours?

What do you use yours for? I'm interested in getting a trailer trip plow to pull with mine but I'm not sure how it would handle it. I believe when they rated them at a 2 plow tractor they were using a 12" moldboard. I also use it to mow the field with a 7' brush hog.

Pull wagon, run a NH balewagon, mow hay, rake, move misc equipment. Serious field work is for the big more modern tractors, like a JD4320, 4020, 4430 I also have a MF265, 175, 85, JD620 for the loader, Farmall M and H, MH44, not running yet is a MH30, Colt and a Mustang. My father started calling us "Ancestorfarms" because the farms have been in the family since 1885. But I think it should be "Colorblind Acres" (if it runs it's used)
