Eight days ago { Wednesday } I ordered parts from YT to repair my steering box on my MF135 UK. When making my order I told th the salesman that I only want to buy Sparex rocker shafts and bushings. I also ordered seals, gaskets and other parts for my steering column. I told him that parts from A&I would be ok for these things. I was very clear about what I wanted. I went over exactly what I want several times. The salesman said he was sure that he understood so he totaled my price and I paid for my order. On Tuesday my upper rocker arrived via UPS. It was from A&I and said made in China on the box. I called YT. The sales man said that maybe there was a miscommunication. NO WAY! I could have not been more clear about my order. Then he said "I see what happened" One of our reps charged your order because the A&I shaft was less expensive, but don"t worry because the lower that was shipped was Sparex. At this point I am not going to put two shafts in from different Suppliers in my gearbox. Then the salesman said I don"t suppose you would be willing to pay for shipping and the new difference in the cost of the parts if we exchange them for the one that you want? He stated YT would waive the restocking fees on my returned shaft. No way I said, I will just cancel the entire order and buy these parts from someone else even if I have to pay more. So he said YT would ship the Sparex lower shaft to me at the original price that we had agreed on. He assured me that the new lower shaft would be here on Thursday/Today. I cleared my schedule for today to put this tractor back together. Normally UPS is by early so I am here at my shop waiting. Finally I call YT to check on my order. The salesman said your order is scheduled for delivery tomorrow/Friday. I told him when I was promised delivery and he said "Oh well, I guess UPS has a mind of its own". Dealing with YT has been a very bad experience! They don"t seem to care one little bit. What if I had a crop in the field and needed my tractor up and running? Through this whole mess, not one single apology!

Well, I was planning on ordering a set of lights for a Cub from YT but now I wonder if I should go somewhere else.

I have purchased numerous parts from here and never had an issue with customer service. In fact, even when I ordered the wrong parts in error they were more than happy to help me out.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, I guess things can't always be good. Lets be fair, once the part leaves the YT warehouse, they have no control over what happens to it. UPS would be the ones to blame in the case of your parts not showing up today. It may have been irresponsible of the customer service dept. to "promise" you it would be there on Thursday but certainly not their fault that it wasn't.

I have been the tractor repair business for many years.Parts mixups and missed shipment dates are a part of it.Learn to live with it.They are offering to make it right.I would let them.If the parts are a day or two late so what? You cannot depend on parcel sevices and such to always get things to you on a certain day.I have had parts orders with these guys at Yesterday's Tractors many times.I have found that they strive to get you good mechandise at a good price.Their service has been above and beyond to me.Your experience with them is unfortunate but,i will continue to purchase parts from them and will recommend them to anyone out there who needs tractor parts.

Hi.
I can only echo much of what has been said. You probably have higher shipping rates which would guarantee next day delivery but at what cost especially if its a large item?
As to the Chinese parts/ There used to be lots of quality issues but today there are very few due to modern production methods. In all probability Sparex parts will probebly be sourced in Turkey.
A few years ago I had to fit 'genuine' MF 10plus brake cylinders to a MF 595. They came in sealed MF bags. Stamped in the metal on one was 'Vapormatic'. You can't win!!!!

First let me say that I am sure the people at YT are good people. I surely dont want customers to stop buying from them. Maybe I was venting just a little and my grip was really just a few things.

1. The did not sent me what we had agreed on. No excuse for this!!

2. Dont act like you are doing me a favor by making things right.

3. Time is important. It is not the shippers fault! They rarely get a delivery date and time wrong. Be accountable and dont blame others.

4. Never, Never tell a customer "Oh Well"!

Last, customer feedback can and should be healthy. YT needs feedback. I hope they use it in a positive way and prevent these incidents in the future. I wish everyone a great weekend!!!

I can't speak to MF parts, but nearly every A&I part I have ordered for my various DBs, have been Vapormatic... most marked "England", exception being a set of Turkish pistons, and gasket sets seem to be different every time I get one.

All the Sparex I have purchased has been marked as "England".

It could be that Turkish, Chinese, or Indian goods become "Made in the UK" when they pass through, just by being packaged. I'm not familiar with their labeling requirements.

The last Genuine "MF/Agco"parts I bought were Romanian.

After several orders placed and the grand total of funds transferred in the thousands, I have only had one issue. It was a MF emblem that was made somewhere in Africa that was unusable. They tried to make it right by shipping another under the assumption that the first was a fluke. The second was as bad or worse than the first. I called it even and threw both in the garbage. I do not think it had ever been inspected and they probably had a shelf full of them. Sorry about the bad service you received. Mine had always been spectacular.

It can be frustrating to get the wrong parts and then wait for the correct ones. In my recent experience with YT, their web site was a little confusing when I ordered an engine rebuild kit for my MF 205 diesel. It had several engine updates based on serial number. In the end, I ordered the wrong parts and they worked with me to get everything I needed. I was concerned about the source of parts. The pistons, cylinder liners, main & rod bearings were from the UK along with full gasket set. The valves and head parts were either Turkey or China. My only issue was a chipped flange on one cylinder liner, which they replaced and didn't request the bad one back. This was an obvious defect that should have been noticed before it was placed in the box! I ordered some oil seals directly from MF dealer (made in UK) and ended up using some from the kit instead because they were better. Overall, I would buy parts from them again.
