i am trying to put a fuel shutoff solenoid on my mf 204 that is gravity feed and need ideas on where i can get a solenoid that would work with gravity feed any ideas and opinions greatly appreciated

Hmmm, if you need a fuel shut-off that's instantaneous, an electric unit activated by engine oil pressure would be the go.
I gather when you say "gravity feed", you might mean when the fuel supply is getting low, the solenoid would shut off the engine? Is this correct?
Evan.

what i am talking about is replacing the sediment bowl and screw type shutoff with an electric type shut off solenoid so when i turn off the ign key it shuts off the fuel

I've thought about doing something similar with my 202. It is inconvenient to turn it off and turn it on although if your carburetor is in good shape you shouldn't have to worry about it too much. I had one instance in the past year where the float stuck or some dirt got into it and the carb was full of gas.
I wouldn't advise removing the float bowl, even if you do put a filter inline it is much more convenient to empty out the sediment bowl and clean the screen than it is to replace the filter. Mine had a filter inline and no float bowl and I had no end to problems with fuel supply. Since I put a proper sediment bowl on I have had over 6 months of trouble free operation.
