I was wanting to know what is the best fluids and filters to put in my 1961 65 Massey has the gas engine. Also how big of disk can I pull with it . Thanks

I have a MF50 gas, I run Rotella 15w-40 for oil, but I have a spin on filter. For coolant, I would run a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze, maybe more or less depending on where you live. The hydraulic oil will probably be 80W mineral oil for winter, and 90W mineral oil for Summer.

INstead of the mineral oil for the transmission, run Perma-tran in it, espescially if it's got Mutli-power. Perma-Tran is the oil sold at your AGCO dealer. The latest is Perma-Tran 821XL to the best of my knowledge.

Massey started out running the thinner mineral 80-90 weights in the rear end, but as time moved on and oils got better, they came out with Perma-tran, and now they have Perma-Tran 821XL.
