Dearborn 19-1 fitment

Would a dearborn 19-1 front plow fit a Massey Ferguson MF50 with any trouble? I have a Sauder front plow off a mf35 but it needs to be lengthened, but there is a dearborn plow near me for cheap, and if it doesn't need to be altered in anyway, I would rather go that direction...
Thanks,
Charles

You need to post a pic of both-snow plows- right? we'll say in general, the 50 is sitting higher, but otherwise the same size as a 35, what part is too short? Dearborn stuff is usually for smaller models 10 years earlier, so we need to see what's wrong with this 19 thing....

The problem with the sauder blade for the MF50 is that where it attaches under the rear axle housing. The ball at the end of the plow frame is approximately 10 inches too short from the locking bracket, the problem with the locking bracket is that it doesn"t lift enough to allow the ball to slide into the "socket" or receiver. Its not really a big deal because my Uncles good friend is a a great welder and fabricator he has his own shop and business, and he wouldn"t screw me over, put he would still charge me. The plow frame would definitely be stronger than how it came when hes done with it, however I can get a hold of a 19-1 dearborn plow for literally $250, the guy that has it doesn"t know what it is, he just wants it gone. From what I can see in the pictures its in good shape. I haven"t seen it in person yet. I am in the process of rebuilding the sauder front plow now, I have it apart, I have bead blasted it, and primed the smaller parts with 4 coats of rustoleum, needless to say it AINT GONNA RUST. Along with getting all new grade 8 hardware, and Im in the process of getting the hydraulic lift cylinder completely rebuilt and re-chromed.

Btw, from what I have read a MF35 is about 9 inches shorter in the front than the MF50 and the front axle seems to be thicker on the MF50 as well, I happen to be in Florida today, I should be in Jersey tomorrow night (im driving up tomorrow morning), so I can get a picture of the plow Sauder plow soon.
