Diesel Matic 65 Won't Start

Tractor was parked on a hill facing downward for several weeks. Now when I went to restart it, it will not start. I bled the system, which didn't help. Prior to this it ran fine. Any suggestions?

Did you bleed the system right up to the injectors? are you getting diesel at the injectors? Maybe the rack is stuck in the injection pump sometimes a tapping with a wooden or plastic hammer will free it off.

From my experience with Perkins, they hate air in the system, even a bubble. Crack at least 1 injector and crack till you get fuel dripping out. By then you will hear the pump making a 'clicking' sound and it should fire up. It seems to help if the throttle is set quite far open for this as well. Once it runs just retighten the cracked injector and you should be fine. (make sure you have enough fuel in the tank for the way it is angled.) Good luck
