Will a 44 diesel starter work with a 44 gas flywheel?

if you want a 12 volt starter for your 44, I purchased a reduction gear starter from Automotive Electric Services out of michigan they are fantastic to deal with, quality starter, cost 240.00 well worth it.

Red, The 44 is 6 volt and the diesel is 12 volt,is it not. It would realy twist her if it fit. --------Harold

They show two different starters numbers.
One for Gas
One for diesel
Do not know what the difference is between them.
