Hi everybody!

I'm a new user on this forum from Norway, so i'm sorry if i write some bad english

I have a Massey Fergusson 35, 1957 model. Diesel engine. The diesel pump is broken, it's pouring diesel into the oilsump so I have to overhaul it. But it doesnt seen to be easy to open:/ Anyone have any exploding drawings of the pump?

Cencearly, Kenneth

Hi again! The pump is allready taken out. I know I have to get the timing gear right when i mount it again, but it should'nt be any problem. Have lots of experiense fixing trucks and all kind of heavy vehicles.

Anyway, so it is best to give it to a repair shop? Im in Bergen, Norway.

It's a four-cylinder eninge with lift-pump. I've checked the lift-pump and that's okay.

You have the Standard Motors diesel. Knowing that will make it easier to get advice. Dave

What engine does it have? 3 or 4 cylinder? You can't just remove an injection pump from a diesel. They have to be timed and it's very important to have someone that knows what they're doing take them off. My neighbor had a guy take his injection pump off that mostly knew what he was doing and it was still a real pain making sure it was timed to the engine right. Dave

Not sure about the MF-35, but does it have a lift pump? If so, might be the trouble rather than injection pump. Tom

By a manual. Read it. Then take the pump to a fuel pump repair place that has an actual separate clean room and a test stand!! Let us know where you are and I am sure someone here can recomend a good place.
