Hi, assume this is an AT6.354 fitted?
Didn't you notice any oil present in the water when you removed the head? Did you check all of the bores before refitting? Is there an oil cooler at the bottom of the radiator? The gist of what you are saying is that the cooling system is becoming pressurised by oil under pressure from the oil pump. This pressure is enough to cause the radiator cap to blow. Is this correct? Any block cracking is more likely to allow water into the oil. A cracked liner and perhaps a cracked or damaged parent bore should only allow loss of compression.
Suggest checking all of the galleries up to the rockers and turbo just in case there is a blockage or significant restriction and the oil has forced its way through the head gasket and into the water jacket.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY EVERYTHING YOU SAID IS CORRECT WE WERE THINKING THAT COMPRESSION WAS CAUSING THE RADIATOR CAP TO POP BUT I BELIVE YOU ARE CORRECT IT IS IN THE OIL GALLERIES OR THE TURBO WE DIDNT THINK OF THAT THANKS
