can anyone tell how to get the injector pump off i have 3 bolts out all the lines pulled out the way.its hung up only pulls out the housing about 1 inch thanks jones3 |

| take the cover plate off of the front of the timing cover, then take the gear off of the pump shaft. some have three bolts and the pump just pulls out, if there is one large nut in the center, the gear is on a tappered hub on the pump and must be pulled off. if this is the case, there should be threads in the gear to install a steering wheel puller or other t-bar. if there is no bolt holes, put your nut back on just so it covers the threads and hit it with a hammer, just make sure the gear is seated firmly against the back of the timing cover, if it is croked you may chip a tooth. have fun. |
