Which MF135 service manual do I choose? I don't want fire starter.
I just bought a 1971 MF135 3cyl. gas. Got to fix an oil leak, power steering problem and anything else I might encounter along the way.I've seen some complete versions on CD but I like paging a book for thing like this.
Thanks,Mike

I have been watching ebay for the sevice and parts manual but keep getting out bid.A bad cd copy of the original would be better than nothing and could be printed to use as a hard copy until a real manual set was found at the right price.

Welp, I just ordered an OEM service manual off of this site for $65 delivered. Don't wanna have to WAIT ON A DEAL when I wanna WORK ON THE TRACTOR. It"ll pay for itself. Although I can't pony up the $75 for the parts manual.

The OEM manual is the only way to fly. I downloaded a so called manual from the net, it turned out to be a Brit version of the manual and was very lacking. Also bought an IT manual, which is no more than cliff notes to the real manual. Spend the monety and get the real manual, you wont be dissapointed. I also own a 1971 135 with the perkins gas. I do not have power steering though. I recently did a complete overhaul of the motor, and put in a new dual clutch. If you need reference photos of the motor, I can post a few. Good Luck, TB

The best is the OEM Massey Ferguson set. You want the owners manual, NEED the service manual, and will forever thank yourself for getting the parts manual.

I&T manuals serve a purpose. Remove the cover, and use it to protect the cover of the OEM manual. Use remainder to start fires in your woodstove. If you don't have a wood stove, a simple burn barrel will suffice. Did I mention I don't like I&T manuals?

Many of the CD's I've seen are bootleg re-prints of the OEM manuals. Worth owning is the BIG DEAN CD on the 100 series tractors. YEARS of practical experience done up in detailed photos.....
