Will a MF 550 combine perkins 354 bolt in a MF 1100?

I am new to MF was wondering if the Perkins 354 in a MF 550 combine will bolt into a MF 1100 gas tractor without major modifications.

The tractor hydraulic pump is attached to the crankshaft. The combine engine of that era lacks the correct machined configuration for that coupler. That combine engine would be a closer match to replace the 2705 if you add the turbo. I do not remember the configuration on the earlier 510. They may use a different crank and dampner.

we put a 354 out of a 510 in our 1100 i know you have to use the 1100 oil pan from a ll00 diesel and the oil pump but ON THe OIL PUMP YOU HAVE TO TAKE ONE OF THE SPLINES OFF THE SHAFT THAT GOES IN TO THE INJECTOR PUMP. the dealer that helped us out was st. joseph equipment in locrosse wis give them a call they can give you more info that you will need their number is 1-888-567-3746
