Good afternoon guys n gals,
Finally got my hydraulic problem solved then had point problems.. Changed same and in doing so, I noticed that wires 2-3 were switched.
I followed the casting on the block (1-3-4-2) and now it only will start with choke (even warmed up) and bairly has the power to go up a hill in low.??
I set the point gap to .028 therabouts.

SO, what"s the timing, firing order, and point gap please
Thanks Errol

Any chance you went the "wrong way" around the cap? Is it hitting on all 4? Try shorting one plug out at a time to test?

Wide points gap would cause advanced timing, so if anything it might knock, or kick back on start
