Has anyone else purchased the John Deere tractor clock that is advertised in Green mag, Two Cylinder and every other Deere "doo-dad" peddler? The one with 12 different sounds, one per hour. Audio from the Waterloo Boy lettered, numbered two cylinders and into the latest 20 series.
How decent is the sound quality on yours?

The clock is nice looking but very hard to make out sounds, it represents the JD company well as long as it looks good it is great! I was prevously employed at a John Deere dealership and Mother Deere didn't think we were a BIG enough dealer so they closed us up. The JD stock holders and brass at the top don't give a CRAP about the small guy any more, If John Deere himself was still alive he would fire the whole lot of them. They seem to forget that the small guy is what keep them going when times got tough. Wal-Mart wants to be in all small towns and John Deere doesn't want to be in ANY! Something is wrong with this and I hope it bites them in the butt some day. I still have a barn full of green and yellow but I willl NEVER buy a new one again!

I have one and like the others said, you can't really tell the 9220 from the unstyled G, but it does keep time and looks good. I was also surprised it didn’t have a 4020, or at least one New Generation on it.

I haven't heard one but looked at them at a local discount store. The quality was cheap and it struck me as odd that they had 9 or 10 2 cylinder tractors sounds/logos then 2 tractors that were less then 10 years old..."new generation" tractors not there at all.....which told me that whoever designed it didn't give a rip about Deere heritage but took the first 12 tractors they could get their hands on...the whole thing struck me as rather "gimmickey" and I decided to pass.

My brother and I have one in our workshop. Sounds like a bunch of noise to me. Very disappointed.

I listened to one of these clocks at a store in Branson, MO. The sound quality was so poor I decided not to buy it.

I seen one in an Orchlien store and it sounded terrible. I could not tell one sound from many of the others. The sound quality was also bad.
