4020 3rd SCV

Putting a 3rd SCV on the 4020 to run bale shredder deflector. I had the special bent levers custom made at the machine shop.

Looking good! My 4020 has 3 SCV's, but was missing the rockshaft covers because of a horrible looking Egging cab being on it. I found covers and did a bunch of measuring and made a template like you show. It turned out pretty good I think. You do need to leave some space around the cutout. If it is too close to the SCV it gets hard to install the cover.

Zack: Very nice job on the 3rd valve levers, look 100% original; I'm sure cover will be right on too! ... Would mind sharing you dimensions , template for hole for 3rd. outlet in cover,.. Thanks . And good to have you back on JD form..

Well. I'm not Zack, but here is how I cut my cover.

The cutout is 4 1/2" up to the bottom of the cut, and the highest part is 9 1/4" up from the bottom edge of the cover. There is about 5/8" left on the left side of the cutout.

My attempt is surely not Expo quality, but it works for me.
