4020 4320 NFE

Question: Can a NFE from a 4020 fit a 4320? Thinking 4320 is not the same setup. TIA.

The 4320 is 6in longer but the rest is basically the same.It seems like the 30 series were different.

From new the 4320 only had a pedstal front end. Many were changed to a heavy rollomatic off a 4020 for a better ride. Tom

Not to be picky but, not really true. They were longer. The 4320 drive train / transmission was unique to the 4320. Ring and pinion in the 4320 fits nothing else but a 4320. The transmission gear sets in a 4320 are the same as used in a 4430 synchro, different than a 4020. There is allot difference between the 4320 and the 4020 including the entire engine even though it was a 404 it was different version of it. The 4320 used same engine as a 4620 only without inter cooler, fuel system settings and misc parts like manifolds. The 4320 was more common to the 4430 in the transmission and heft that replaced it but not exactly the same either. The introduction of the Perma clutch, Sound Gaurd cab and live transmission pump were the biggest improvements over the 4320. Used to have allot of 4320's in the field that would run circles around new 4430's They were and still are a tough old tractor! DW
