Ok, so the part # is 23710. I crossed the 2 different part #s over from deere and came back with 2 different seals. I took both numbers to Napa to see the difference the owner told me that the only difference is a dust seal on the actual seal. Since there is no dust, you can get the cheaper ones. Mine were $12.99 each. Now I haven't put them in yet, but don't see any reason they won't work. In terms of the felt seals, like someone else said give them a good washing out. All they do is keep dust out of the axle. When you pull the rear axle to do the seals (I hope you know they are on the inside of the axle next to the bull gear) don't forget to mop out the oil from inside the axle. Otherwise you might think it is leaking again. Have a good time. :) |
