Most DLTX-10's I've seen have a DLTX-7 bowl for use with 7/8 stem threads. That said, Wes Malcombs book on JD A's describes the small changes made to the #7 bowls at some point in time during the 30's. Also there is an early #7 bowl for use with 3/4 stem threads on the brass #8 A model carbs. Maybe someone else knows what year the DLT-10 bowl made it's appearance. The -10 bowl replaced the -7 bowls at some point in time. They are generally interchangeable, unless you're going for numbers matching, year specific. |
