the rear wheel wieght on my 520 John Deere tractor say MARTINSVILLE ILLINOIS E FDRY anyone know are they made for Deere? or just after market? what are they worth scape metal price? thanks Howard |

| I can help with this one. This was E Rowe Foundry in Matinsville Ill. My Farmall wheel weights on my M are stamped with the same info. A trucking outfit I worked for in the 70s used to haul out of there and I think they cast for several different companies. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner/founder at the county fair one year.

| I think several aftermarket companies made weights to fit JD's back in the day. I had a nice set on my 50. Not worth what JD ones are but that's nice if you just need cheap weights. |

| Weights for frt & rear of JD tractors were forged at several different foundries besides JD. There were 2 foundries in Texas. One was B/W and the other was Taylor. |

| ANY wheel or suitcase weight is worth 75 cents/pound (CHEAP) to just over a dollar a pound (normally 90c-1.00) FAR above scrap..... |
