The oil is basically drawn to the pump from the small plastic resevoir attached to the bottom of the top lift cover. There is plastic "trumpet" in the tank and a line to the pump. Check to see if the oil is foamy as there is a plastic gasket where the line goes on the pump and a place where air can be drawn in. If it has power steering the priority valve on top of the pump sends the first 3 gallons there. The total gallons per minute output is only 6 or 7 gallons at full engine speed[2400rpm] so there isn't that much left for loader or other functions. I'd check that plastic gasket at the pump first. If it is cold[less than -10 degreesC/15degreesF] make sure the oil is not a too high a viscosity. Use a straight hydraulic oil of no higher than #32 grade viscosity. Do pressure test on the system when warmed up and see if you have at least 2200 psi. Hope this helps....Ron [Reply]   [No Email]
