That was one of the best articles i've seen for a while. I like the fact there wasn't a lot of bullshit you just got down to the meat of the story and explained it really good. Called Ed and told him about it but he doesn't get it so he has to wait till it comes out at tsc. He will learn LOL

Tim, great write up in the Green Magazine. Really enjoyed following the progress on the 60 C project. Then to see your article in Green was awesome. Will be watching for your posts and progress on the 4020 C project. Kerry in mid-MO

I'll help with the recipe..I've been drawing on a 4020 PS crawler/450C chassis..flipping the ring gear to get the direction right, making an adapter and new axles to mate with the final drives,,leaving the rock shaft/3pt on to run a 4 bottom roll over plow...."BUT" I'm gonna play with my 60C this summer :^)

|
Actually I think it would be easier than this 60C was...I have been developing a ratio pattern from some of these transmission jobs lately to gain an idea on ground speeds,,and I'm not sure how to deal with the load depth arm to keep the 3pt alive,,when I flip the ring gear that follower arm will need to go....I have entertained a high crop final drive system....that would reverse my drive train...a lot of stuff to think about,,I like this kind of stuf better than cross word puzzles..

That's for sure Lenard, I am located at the south east edge of Ohio farm country, 10 miles farther east you can't even find a place to set your water jug down, 5 miles to the west and it's flat and nice,, my Brother and I always wished that Great Great grand Dad would have stayed in the wagon for another week....
