Ford and Mazda sell little cars a lime green that isn't far off from JD green. My daughter would like to have one and then put some decals on it maybe even yellow wheels ? I like the rims on those new fancy gators. They would look nice on one of these cars.

We used to have a young man in our community who worked at the local Deere dealer as a mechanic. He had a '65? Malibu painted JD green with yellow wheels. I think his blood might have been green too, ha.

I have a few guys that keep an eye out for good ones,,I only use "good" ones, no rust, I get them with blown engines then put a new re-built one in, I rebuild them here, I buy some rusty ones for parts and engines. I strip them down and take care of the drive line and brakes, instal the cab back and some pieces to fill in body panels in the rear, then I send them to a paint shop and use an automotive Deere New Green paint copy, then I put the strips on using 3m decorative tape, and paint the wheels actual Deere Yellow. I have a metal shop shear and bend the beds, then I weld them up on a set-up stand, I have a Jig made up for the hoist sub frame. for the hydraulics I run a line from the power steering pump to a solenoid direction valve, the the bypass oil down to the steering box,I actuate the valve with a rocker switch in the cab for power up and down (drawing it down on a rubber strip to keep it from rattling),It will dump the bed full of #7 stone, i have a windshield guy put a piece of auto glass and an apolstery shop do the inside rear panel. They are nice when they are finished,,but I don"t make enough on them to make it worth while, i have only done 6 of them..

I like that. Don't know about the color though. Or that I would use the dump bed much.
