Like what was said, LED's are white and bright and they don't draw near the amps. Put some extra LED's on your tractor and the the rest of the lights will look yellow. Deere carries LED's that are very good quality but you pay dearly for quality. A neighbor was going to put all LED replacement lights on his Deere and when his wife found out what it was going to cost she put her foot down. Does the 40 series have that worthless light strip in the front of the hood or did that start with the 50 series. If your tractor does have that light strip, Deere carries a replacement LED strip now. I put the LED strip on a 4650 and the light it gives off is like daylight. It doesn't shine out across the field but it illuminates the area in front of the tractor like daylight. Jim |

| the 8640 only has two circular lights in the front , the 8650 has a sort of strip with 4 circular lights with in it . I think most of the 55 series has the light strip . I will roughly cost around $700 to replace the lights with LED. |
