They are either completely wore out or need adjusted. On the bottom rail there should be two 1-1/4 nuts on the outside and inside. You have to tighten them the same. So ten turns on inside you need ten turns on outside. On my 420c the book says lay a 2x4 across the top of the track and when its at the right tightness from the center of the 2x4 down to the track should be 1-1/2 or 2 inches in the middle something like that I would have to look it up. It could also just be that the tracks are completely shot? Mine are not great however I have room to tighten and mine is a play toy. Finding new tracks or 50% used one is a big expense.
