| I can remember when the local dealership transferred ownership in the early 1980's they had a 4050 open station (no ROPS) on the lot. Back in those days when dealers still ordered for in-store inventory I think most ordered tractors with ROPS (if no SGB) for liability reasons and farmers accepted that. Like I said before any farmer who wanted an open station in the 1980's was old-fashioned (stubborn) or was trying to save a dollar. |
