Ground the 2 Neg. post, run both pos. cables to the top post on the starter,put the brown and blue wires that were on the old starter both on the top post also, mount a starter solenoid on the fire wall or some place out off the way, run a wire from the top post of the starter to one of the large post on the solenoid,run a wire from the other big post of the solenoid to the energizing post on the starter,put the yellow wire that was on the starter that was coming from the safety switch to the small terminal on the new solenoid. As for the alternator it"s easier to use a single wire delco alternator and you can use the brown wire that was going out to the old voltage regulator for the battery wire .Mail me if you want to talk about it...I mount the new solenoid under the cowl near the scv linkage... |
