Hi! I'm working on my 1939 John Deere B and I am going to install a crankshaft out of a 1942 in it to put the newer style rods and all in it. Before I go any further I need to know if the Camshafts are the same in a 39 model B and a 42 model B or are they different. I'm just trying to make sure timing marks won't be an issue when I get to that point which is soon! Any help or advice is Greatly Appreciated! Thanks! |

| Not gaining a thing swapping a worn out 73 yr old cam for an worn out 70yr old cam. Send the 39 cam and followers to a shop for re-grinding. |
