Working on a 4230 and having trouble with the lights. the 4 flashes and 2 rear red tail lights work and also the 2 rear work lights. However, the two front work lights do not. Do they need replaced or are they on a fuse of their own and just need a fuse? Also, I have no interior lights - guages or the two lights above - but I do have radio and blower. Fuse, or something else? Thanks in advance for help |

| Also if the aluminum contact strips haven't been replaced with the brass ones that would be a good call as well. The alum. ones will deform when the nuts on the breakers are tightened and are notorious for bad connections and fires on occasions from heating due to bad connections. |

| Check the connections at the circuit breakers, they corrode there under the nuts. Then make sure that the switch is being fed on Batt. A and Batt. B terminal. |

I agree on checking ALL connections on the circuit breaker board on the LH side in front of the dash as they've had a long history of loose connections. I don't remember "4230's" having battery A & B as I was thinking they utilized two 6 volt batteries attached in series. I was also thinking there are some hard to access light relays under dash above the diff lock pedal. |

| There are 2 power feeds to the light switch, both 12 volt and same polarity, it helps spread the load by using 2 terminals, if one loses power it will affect part of the lights. |
